The objective of this program is to assist students who study in the local syllabus in

English medium in Government schools and other private schools  to excel themselves in their studies.

In this endeavor, VIDURA as a responsible corporate citizen wish and happy to extend its boundaries by sharing  its resources, experience, competencies and values to nurture educated, cultured, religious and national minded Sri Lankans who would be competent in English, being a global language, to be independent and successful individuals later in life.

The program commenced in 2001 and has successfully been operated over last seven years.

This is conducted as a ‘Single Session School’ on Saturdays from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm.

Admission for this program commences towards the end of each calendar year. Applications are issued on first come first basis generally in end October. An Admission Test is held to assess the competency level of the student and admission is done based on the performance the student. Admission is done generally for Grade six however based on number of vacancies available admission may be done for other Grades. Based on the performance at the year end examination students will be promoted to the subsequent Grade, however, at the discretion of the school.

Students are required to attend classes dressed in the prescribed uniform and strictly be abide by the code of conduct maintained in the school where discipline receives utmost priority.

Regular assignments are given to maintain the continuous assessment. At end of Term, Test is held and a Report Card is issued. The performance of the student is discussed with the parent concerned where necessary. Selected co-curricular activities are also done where students could display their skills other than book learning.

It is compulsory that students in Grades 6-9 to take up all 5 subjects that is offered. However, students in the Grades 10-11 can choose subjects based on the combination that is offered by the school.

Regular attendance is mandatory as this is only a reinforcement program for regular lessons taken up by the student in his/her school.

It is requested to pay fees before class commences each month. Fees paid are non refundable under any circumstances. An admission card is issued on enrollment. This is required to be produced at the time of making payments each month.

Fees can be paid on Saturday and during week days between 8.00am and 1.00 pm.

Fees may be revised when occasion demands.

The program is operated within a unique framework of its own and both the parents and students should be cognizance of same before seeking admission.

Further a greater commitment from the student and that of the parent is a prerequisite to make this program successful and to achieve desired results. Hence only serious candidates are encouraged to apply.
